Cleaning Fabric Banner
To properly care for a fabric banner, you will need to clean it regularly.
Fabric banners should be machine washed in cold water on a gentle cycle, and then laid out or hung up to dry. You can also use a steamer to get rid of any wrinkles or creases that appear after washing or storing.
You should never use bleach on a fabric banner, put one in the dryer or iron one. You also don’t ever want to use harsh cleaning substances, like chemical cleaners, or scrubber sponges when cleaning fabric banners.
Storing Fabric Banners
When you’re done using a fabric banner, don’t fold it up to store it. The best way to store one is to loosely roll the banner—with the design on the inside to keep it better protected—onto a hard core or tube to avoid making creases or smashing it.
You also want to store fabric banners in a cool, dry place. Storing them in a place that’s wet or where the banner can get damp will cause mold and mildew to form, and too much exposure to water will also damage the woven fibers of the banner. This is also why you should always make sure your banner is totally dry before storing it.
