Combined with the characteristics of TPO sheet membrane rolls, cold bonding, empty laying, mechanical fixing and sometimes a unique hot air welding process are used. Complicated waterproof construction parts should be specially matched. TPO special accessories combined construction.

Cold bonding method: The construction method of using a special adhesive for TPO coils to paste the coils on the base layer by cold work is called cold bonding. According to different waterproof design requirements, the cold bonding method can be divided into full bonding or partial bonding.

TPO roofing material

(1) The full adhesion method is a construction method in which all TPO coils are bonded to the base layer.

  1) During construction, pre-laying is required first, and the TPO coil is naturally laid flat on the surface of the base layer (not bonded first), and it is required to be smooth and straight without distortion.

  2) The longitudinal lap width of the coil is 50mm, and it should be cut appropriately. The horizontal butt joint is used, and a 200-250mm wide non-composite layer (Type N) is used on it. TPO coil covers lap welding.

  3) Fold the long side of one or more webs in half (about 10m), and apply special adhesive on the base layer and the surface of the web from the folded place. When the glue is dry to the point where it does not stick to your hands, place the pre-laid web surface For folding and pasting, compact it with a pressing roller. Then fold the other unfolded parts, continue to operate from the fold as described above, and then paste firmly and compactly. Finally, the butt joint welding construction is carried out.

(2) Partially paste the coil. When paving the TPO coil, the coil and the base layer are pasted on the base layer by point or strip bonding.

  1) Point sticking: Point-like sticking between the coil and the base layer. No less than 5 points are bonded per square meter, and the area of ​​each point is 100mm×100mm.

  2) Strip sticking: The coil is glued to the base layer in strips. There are no less than two bonding surfaces between each web and the base layer, and each width is no less than 150mm.
