PVC tarpaulin is made up of high tensile polyester, high quality resin powder, plasticizer, stabilizer, proper amount of calcium powder, and tiny quantity of chemicals.

    Main component of PVC coated tarpaulin is the polyvinyl chloride (PVC). plasticizer, inhibitor and other auxiliary materials are added in the production process to enhance the heat resistance, flexibility and ductility. RAM, fungicide, antioxidant and many other chemical additives are added into the paste resin, to promise the non-inflammability, high strength, weather ability and geometric stability.

    Also PVC tarps has nature functions: waterproof, mould proof, wear-resistant, durable, cold resistance, aging resistance, etc. 

Main production process of PVC tarpaulin:

1. PVC Laminated tarp:

    It's made with lamination process, to laminate the PVC film and knitted polyester fabric together.

2. Hot-melt coated PVC tarpaulin

    It's the main coated tarpaulin materials produced by PVC tarp manufacturer. The PVC film is melted under high temperature, and laminated into the woven polyester fabric.

    For higher adhesion, super strong glue is applied before the laminating process.

The main advantage of hot-melt coating is that, production cost not much more than laminated tarpaulin, the function close to the knife-coated tarpaulin.

3. PVC knife coated tarpaulin

    PVC knife-coated tarpaulin, is also called real coated tarpaulin. The PVC raw material is 100% melted into liquid, the woven polyester fabric go through the PVC liquid and then go through the gap between 2 blade, to remove the extra PVC raw material.
