How to correctly understand outdoor inkjet canvas ink?
The inkjet canvas roll company uses outdoor inkjet ink every day, and is very familiar with outdoor inkjet inks. It should be said that ink has a certain understanding. However, we found in the actual exchanges that many inkjet companies actually don't know much about ink, and there are even many misunderstandings. They generally believe that: 1, ink production technology has been very advanced, the ink is very stable, the use of absolutely no problem, will never produce plugging, chromatic aberration and so on. 2, the machine is equipped with a micron-sized filter, the large particles and impurities in the ink can not enter the nozzle, so there will be no problem.
Is this really?
In fact, this is a great misunderstanding of outdoor inkjet ink!
Below, we make some objective analysis from the raw materials, formula, production process and performance characteristics of outdoor ink.
We know that in order to achieve the outdoor weather resistance, water, light, acid and alkali resistance, outdoor ink can only use pigment ink (usually called solvent ink, oil ink or weak solvent ink). The ink is obtained by stirring and mixing raw materials such as pigment particles, solvents, dispersants, stabilizers, and anti-UV agents. Since this mixing is physical and not chemical, no matter how unique the formulation is, no matter how advanced the production process is, this physical mixing cannot be maintained in a stable state for a long time. After a certain period of time, the mixing will occur. Separation occurs, causing delamination and precipitation of the ink. Moreover, as soon as the ink is produced, the stratification and precipitation phenomenon gradually begins to occur, but it is not yet serious enough to be used. The difference between the inks of different manufacturers is only the length of storage time. The good quality ink can be used for 2 to 5 months, and the poor quality ink can only be placed for about 1 month.
Since the outdoor ink must be a pigment type ink, and the size of the ink pigment particles is not uniform, the filter precision of the inkjet printer will settle down to a certain extent, and the layered and precipitated pigment particles themselves have a fineness smaller than that of the filter. The particle group can change the various characteristics of the shape and smoothly pass through the filter, so it is inevitable that the ink pigment particles are clumped, the ink is layered, the particles are precipitated, and the like, and the ink density of the various colors is inevitably brought out and ejected. The screen produces color differences, and the inkjet printer is prone to plugging. These problems are neither the problem of the ink manufacturer nor the quality of the machine, nor the problem of the filter manufacturer, but the characteristics of the outdoor ink. It’s good for 100% polyester inkjet canvas printing.
The good news is that China has a solution to these problems. Through years of practice, the use of "ultrasonic ink supply" can completely solve these problems.
