Pet Antistatic Film is a relatively modern and environmentally friendly material, and its transparency and wear resistance are relatively high.
The difference between PET material and PVC:
1. PET polyethylene terephthalate, PVC is polyvinyl chloride.
2. PET is a transparent material PVC is calcium-doped.
3. Can be distinguished by combustion method: polyester resin (PET), appearance: transparent. Flammability: flammable, leaving the flame to continue burning. Near flame is melted, melted, leaving flame to continue burning, a few have smoke, very weak sweetness, ash is hard round, black or light brown.
Polyvinyl chloride (PVC). Appearance: transparent to opaque, hard. Softening or melting temperature range: 75~90°C; burning flame state: white smoke and pungent sourness on yellow and green; after fire: extinguished from fire. It becomes brittle after burning.
4. PVC is quite rigid and has good chemical resistance, but it is brittle and hard, less elastic, and has combustion-supporting and self-extinguishing properties. PET has higher tensile strength, stiffness and hardness. The thermal performance PET has a long-term use temperature of up to 120 degrees, low water absorption, good chemical stability and electrical insulation.
